SURVEYS: Gathering Data To Get It Right

League Director

A recently completed resident survey focused on discovering recreation preferences will guide the creation of facility concepts that will be reviewed by the public prior generating a final proposed concept. Beyond establishing a significant interest in indoor recreation the data also established that South Valley residents are willing to financially supporting a community owned public facility. Data collection has been a critical step in establishing priorities which will be confirmed later with a statistically valid scientifically administered survey.

Are you the director of a sports league, club or team athletic program? This survey is focused on understanding your needs and will help us evaluate demand for courts, turf, ice, and aquatics along with other associated amenities. Your organization will also be able to share interest in renting space or creating your own space connected to or near a possible community recreation center.  Public officials have expressed interest in exploring  mutually beneficial partnerships with  sports leagues for the benefit of all participants.

Are you the director of martial arts, dance, cheer, gymnastics, music or other similar program that would benefit from access to a community indoor space? This survey is focused on understanding your needs and will help us evaluate demand for a space that would fit your needs. Your organization will also be able to share interest in renting facilities or creating your own space connected to or near a possible community center.  Project facilitators and public officials are interested in exploring all reasonable arrangements to create opportunities for recreation, health and wellness.

Are you a medical or health and wellness provider? Co-locating with a possible recreation center is an opportunity to share resources along with a prime opportunity to tap into a steady stream of patients/clients that will be seeking your products and services. Additionally, any businesses that understand the value of enhancing employee wellness through corporate discounts on memberships for their employees at a recreation facility will see higher productivity, reduced absenteeism, improved morale, and better retention of their workforce through employee participation in recreation. Businesses can also benefit from sponsorship, naming rights, and brand visibility in high-traffic areas while supporting the community that supports their business with a visual presence at a recreation, community and wellness center.

As a business owner if you would like to explore any of the above we invite you to share your thoughts in the business survey
